Auto glass repair in Los Angeles County — mobile service
We cover the parts of LA County we can genuinely reach and service well: the South Bay, the Westside, Long Beach and the Gateway Cities, the San Gabriel Valley, and the Glendale–Burbank corridor.
- Mobile at no extra charge — your driveway, your office lot, your job site
- ADAS camera recalibration on the same visit, not a second appointment
- We bill your carrier direct — GEICO, State Farm, USAA, AAA, Farmers, Progressive
- Workmanship warranted for as long as you own the vehicle
You're all set, there.
We've got your request. A Speedy tech will call you shortly to confirm the glass, your coverage and a time that works.
Being straight about our LA County coverage
Los Angeles County is around 4,000 square miles, and any mobile glass company claiming to cover all of it equally is either exaggerating or about to cancel on somebody. So here is our actual envelope:
- South Bay — Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Gardena, Carson, El Segundo
- Westside — Santa Monica, Venice, Culver City, West LA, Mar Vista
- Long Beach & the Gateway Cities — Long Beach, Downey, Norwalk, Bellflower, Lakewood, Whittier, Pico Rivera, Signal Hill
- San Gabriel Valley — Pasadena, South Pasadena, Alhambra, Arcadia, Monrovia, Sierra Madre
- Glendale–Burbank corridor — Glendale, Burbank, Eagle Rock
We do not currently serve the Antelope Valley — Lancaster, Palmdale and the high desert. That is a ninety-minute-plus run each way from anywhere we stage, and we would rather tell you no now than take your booking and disappoint you. Catalina Island is likewise out.
Not sure which side of the line you are on? Send your ZIP and we will tell you plainly.
Why we would rather under-promise
Cancelling on somebody with a broken window is worse than never taking the job. LA County is big enough that honest coverage limits are a feature, not a weakness — it is the reason we can commit to the areas we do list.
What breaks glass in LA County
The mix here is different from Orange County. Street parking and break-ins drive a great deal of door glass and back glass work — considerably more than windshields in some neighbourhoods. The 710 corridor and the port approaches generate genuine rock-chip volume from heavy truck traffic, and the freeway construction that is permanently underway somewhere in this county does the rest.
Then there is the commute itself. LA drivers spend more time in traffic than almost anyone in the country, which means more hours sitting directly behind other people's tyres. A chip you pick up on the 405 in the morning has all day in the sun and then a cold blast of air conditioning to help it spread.
Where we can actually work, in an LA context
This is the practical problem that matters here more than anywhere else. Residential driveways and office surface lots are straightforward. Street parking is usually workable but we need to know the block, because time-limited zones and street-sweeping days decide the appointment. Subterranean and tandem garages are the difficulty — many buildings ban vehicle work outright in their rules, and static camera calibration needs level ground and clear space in front of the vehicle that a tight garage bay will not give.
None of that is usually a dealbreaker. Most often the answer is your office instead of your building, or a nearby surface lot. Tell us the situation and we will solve it on the phone rather than in your driveway.
Every piece of glass on the vehicle
One mobile team, one visit. If the camera behind your windshield needs recalibrating afterwards, we do that too rather than sending you somewhere else.
Windshield replacement
Crack past repairing? We fit new glass to the adhesive maker's spec and tell you the real safe drive-away time.
See windshield replacement →Chip & crack repair
Caught it early? A resin repair takes about half an hour and most carriers waive the deductible on repair.
See chip & crack repair →ADAS recalibration
Move the glass and you move the camera that aims lane-keeping and automatic braking. We recalibrate and hand you the scan report.
See ADAS calibration →Back glass & rear windows
Rear glass shatters into pebbles rather than cracking. We vacuum it out of the seats and cabin, and match the defroster grid.
See back glass replacement →Door & side windows
Broken into overnight? Usually cheaper than a comprehensive deductible, so most people just pay cash and never file.

There is no shop to drive to. Tell us where the vehicle is parked and we'll tell you straight whether we can work there.

Tell us what broke
Send the form or call. Your VIN or plate gets us the exact glass for your vehicle, including whether it carries a camera, rain sensor or heating element.
We check your coverage first
Before anyone is dispatched we confirm what your policy covers and what your deductible actually is, so the price you hear is the price you pay. No claim is filed until you say go.
We come to you
Your driveway, your office lot, your job site — at no extra charge. We fit the glass, recalibrate the camera if there is one, and tell you when it's safe to drive.
What California drivers actually pay
Straight answers, because there is a lot of misleading advertising in this industry.
California has no free-glass law
You may have seen ads implying windshields are free by law in California. They aren't. Florida, Kentucky and South Carolina require zero-deductible glass coverage — California does not. If your glass is fully covered here, it's because you bought a full-glass endorsement, not because of a statute.
So what will it cost?
It depends on your policy, and we'll check it before we dispatch rather than after. Two things are usually true: comprehensive coverage pays for glass minus your deductible, and most carriers waive the deductible on chip repair because a repair costs them far less than a replacement.
Your insurer can't pick your shop
Under California Insurance Code § 758.5 your insurer cannot require you to use a specific shop. It cannot recommend one unless you asked for a referral or were told in writing that you may choose. Once you've chosen, it cannot steer you elsewhere, and it cannot cut your reasonable repair cost down to what its own shop would have charged.
No insurance? That's common
Plenty of our work is cash-pay, especially door glass, which often costs less than a comprehensive deductible anyway. Tell us the vehicle and we'll quote you a real number with mobile service included, not a "starting from" figure that changes when we arrive.
Speedy Windshield Repair is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any insurance company. Carrier names appear on this site only to indicate that we bill those insurers directly.

Joseph was great to work with. He was comitted to providing great service since our initial phone call. Next day windshield was replaced in a timely and professional manner. Would definitely do business with them again and recommend to anyone that needs to replace their windshield.
Amazing customer service! Excellent work and yes they are speedy! Got my windshield replaced and was so pleasantly surprised when Michael presented me with a "thank you" gift bag. So rare to see engaged service - this place has it..highly recommend.

What the warranty actually covers
"Lifetime warranty" is meaningless unless somebody writes down what it includes. Here's ours.
Covered, for as long as you own the vehicle
- Water leaks caused by our installation
- Wind noise caused by our installation
- Moulding and trim failures from our fitting
- Workmanship defects of any kind on our install
Not covered — and we'd rather say so up front
- New impact damage — a fresh rock is a fresh job
- Stress cracks spreading from damage that predates our work
- Defects in the glass itself, which carry the manufacturer's warranty
- Damage from a later collision or a break-in
Frequently asked
No, and we would rather say so. We cover the South Bay, the Westside, Long Beach and the Gateway Cities, the San Gabriel Valley, and the Glendale–Burbank corridor. We do not serve the Antelope Valley — Lancaster, Palmdale and the high desert — or Catalina. Send your ZIP for a straight answer on your address.
Usually, but we need to know the block. Time-limited parking and street-sweeping days set the appointment window, and for a windshield the car needs to sit still while the adhesive cures. If your street will not work, an office lot or a nearby surface lot normally will.
Sometimes. Many buildings prohibit vehicle work in their rules, low ceilings and tight bays restrict access, and static camera calibration needs level ground with clear space in front of the car. Tell us the building and we will work out whether we can do it there or should meet you at a surface lot nearby.
No — in LA County we are mobile only. Our registered place of business is in San Diego, which is the address shown in our footer and on our BAR registration. Everything here happens where your vehicle is.
